Photo Illustration Project: Album Cover

For this project, we were tasked with designing a photo illustration, and I chose to recreate Mitski’s “The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We.” For this project, I drew inspiration from the album title to create a bleak, emotional visual using layered textures, blending tools in Photoshop, and my own photo of wilting flowers to enhance the design’s dreary, cohesive atmosphere.
